Factom has teamed up with Netki, a Wallet Name Service provider for the crypto currency community, to develop more user-friendly addresses for customers.
According to the press release, Netki Wallet Names will support Factoids and Entry Credits by implementing these address types to their consumer and partner offerings. Netki users can add Factoid and Entry Credit addresses to their Wallet name through the Wallet admin option.
Tiana Laurence, CMO of Factom Foundation, stated that the partnership with Netki allowed making Factom more user-friendly:
Justin Newton, CEO and the founder of Netki, said:
The partnership provides users with four new major benefits. Firstly, users will now be able to trade Factoids using Wallet Names for Factoid addresses. A Wallet Name can be used instead of a simple wallet address. Secondly, Wallet Name provides Factoids conversion to Factom Entry Credits allowing entries to the Factom system. The third benefit is the opportunity to trade bitcoins for Factom Entry Credits by using Netki’s Wallet Name. And finally, the combination of blockchain technologies with DNSSEC guarantees high levels of privacy and security when sharing wallet addresses via email or text messages. Wallet Names produce a unique address for each transaction making it visible only to users participating in those transactions.
Founded by Justin Newton, Netki provides solutions for the evolving digital currency ecosystem, helping cryptocurrency reach its full potential.
