Australian start-up Brighton Peak has introduced a bitcoin exchange option in the country following the growing demand for the cryptocurrency. Brighton Peak has become part of the Australian bitcoin community, together with Independent Reserve and btcmarkets.
The main product Brighton Peak offers to customers is bitcoin exchange built upon US-based AlphaPoint technologies to manage back-up operations. AlphaPoint’s infrastructure allows up to 1 million transactions per second. Joe Ventura, CEO of the American company, said: “By leveraging strategic access to global trading activity, Brighton Peak’s exchange will be able to offer Australian traders and businesses competitive exchange rates and deep, persistent order flows.”
On its official page Brighton Peak also announces that, being a member of the Australian Digital Currency Commerce Association (ADCCA), it provides “professional Bitcoin consulting services catering primarily business customers who require curated information regarding Bitcoin.”
Australian Bitcoin sphere is known to be highly competitive, since Bitcoin trading volume is augmenting, which offers customers an opportunity to select the most profitable exchange conditions. In April 2015 another bitcoin company, Independent Reserve, for the first time made it possible for users to trade directly in Australian dollars.
