The New York-based provider of elections software has partnered with Blockchain Technologies to see whether blockchain technology can be used for the needs of the sector. The company is a subsidiary of Global Arena Holding.
The CEO of the Global Arena Holding also finds blockchain an important technology for voting which is “faster, more secure, accurate, non-tamperable and foolproof.”
The company provides registration and database management, remote electronic voting, security solutions and other services to facilitate electoral process for the private sector.
In Spring, Australian delegative democracy activists incorporated blockchain into their “Neutral Voting Bloc”. The project is aimed at establishing a new way for voters to interact with Parliament via online referendums which are held on a daily basis.
